“Tom Plumb”
He swore it was the plunger.
He said it held magic.
The moment he wrapped his hands around its rubber grip,
the world made sense…
Pipes flowed, pressure held, and customers smiled and nothing leaked…
He believed that plunger gave him patience.
That it helped him love his job.
That it made him kind.
Even when things got… well, poopy!
But what he didn’t know
was that just weeks ago, after one particularly traumatic toilet trauma,
Penny Mum Plumb quietly swapped it out.
The rubber was falling apart,
and the handle was bent like a banana…
So she replaced it while he slept…
And you know what?
Tom never noticed.
He kept turning up.
Still kind. Still calm. Still full of purpose…
Because it was never the plunger!!
It was him!!
The magic wasn’t in the tools it was in the hands that held it…
A reminder from Tom (and Penny) Plumb:
The belief can start with anything… but the strength was always in you… ❤️
