Built from an electric edger motor that screamed along fence lines…
A small metal espresso cup that had been discarded… 
A square saucer…
A coiled spring under tension….
A hammer head made for impact…. 
Forks and spoons from everyday life…. 
Built for noise.
Built for use.
Built to wear out.
Now it stands still ♥️ 
A heron knows the water will move.
A heron knows the moment will come.
It doesn’t chase it.
It meets it….
